Dear Nhomar

As I have learned that you are a friend of clear but not necessarily
politically correct statements, let me say it this way :-)

As long as there is no legal reason, you should not open GL accounts for
partners, that's why sub-ledgers were invented for. But there are
accountants out there who want to save their jobs by blowing up the
general ledger and similar ideas.

One should never forget: accounting is for the tax authorities only, for
managing your business you need controlling. Nobody earns a single
dollar with accounting except third party accountants. :-)
